Pitch looked back out to the sun, judging time and the distance they had to travel to get back. "We have some time before dark." He smiled back at her.

Charlotte smiled and sighed. "I don't know him, but I have another brother, named Klash. He's in Darkpack. When I was born, he and my brother got into a huge fight. Klash wanted Duke to join Darkpack, but Duke refused, which didn't make our brother happy at all. They fought for a long time. Klash was stronger. He almost killed Duke." She glanced at Pitch. "Rather than just accept his victory and leave, he killed all of my litter mates and almost killed me, to hurt Duke even more." She looked out over the territory, taking in all of the beautiful colors as the setting sun touched the land. "Duke, barely alive, managed to save me. He thinks that our brother is going to come back some day, which is why he never lets me leave his sight." She looked at Pitch, wondering what he was thinking about all of this. "I think Duke still sees me as that fragile pup that I used to be. Which is why he worries about me so much."

Klash ate almost all of the fawn. He pushed what was left to the side and burped. "That was good." He chuckled and went to lay next to Misa. "How's yours?"

She shook her head. "I'm not very strong. Duke tried to teach me how to hunt large prey and to fight when I was young, but I never really picked up on it." She looked away, embarrassed.

Lucky for her, they acted and looked as if they were a month over due! Aella looked at the white she-pup. "This one will be Winter." Aella licked they small pups forehead, as a wave of emotion flooded over her. She looked at the boy. "And this one is named after the most wonderful He-wolf I have ever met... Jisrun."
