Pitch paused at the sound of a battle and looked to Charlotte

Charlotte looked back at him with wide eyes. "Oh no." She said.

Zara was relieved to see another wolf join in the fight. Seeing the bear distracted, Zara lunged forward with her fangs sinking deep into the bear's shoulder. She pull back, bringing a small chunk of fur and flesh with her.

(Who's playing the bear? Is it kind of a team effort?)

Duke was flung off of the bear when Zara bit into its shoulder. He hit the ground hard, and the wind was knocked out of him. He scrambled to his feet and stood there gasping for breath.

(I've had the wind knocked out of me before. It sucks!)

Charlotte ran with him, staying close to him.

Duke, finally catching his breath, ran at the bear again. He grabbed onto the bear's leg and bit down as hard as he could. He could feel blood from the bear seeping onto his tongue. Duke snarled and pulled, splitting the bears leg open.
