Aella let out loud affectionate rumbles. She licked him back on the nose.

"Och, I'm FINE!" Jisrun said in a half growl. "Stop fussing over me like I'm dying. Thanks, Duke but the you missed all the fun. The bears gone now. Seriously, Kludd...your mate needs you now more than I do." Jisrun leaned close and told him in whisper of the pup that don't make it. "Go and be with your family." He turned and padded into his den and sat down, licking his wounds.

(Duke actually helped fight the bear off. xD)

A curtain of twilight had fallen once Fyra had soothed her hunger with a vole and two mice. She headed over to the Stonepack alpha den, tapping her toes on a stone outside to signal that she needed Senkah or Hades.

Gryphon rolled out from under her and rose to the surface laughing, he waded to shore and shook himself, sending water droplets everywhere.

Willowpelt laughed and jumped out of the water. She licked the nose of her new mate.

Gryphon licked her ear and looked into her eyes. Then with a laugh he pushed her back into the river, jumping in next to her and treading water.

Willowpelt laughed. She pushed her head under the water, trying to catch fish.

Gryphon swam over to a rock and lept up, watching her as she fished and letting the sun dry his pelt. Happiness filled him where before an empty hole ate away at his heart. He never though any wolf would want him...but here was one...a perfect, beautiful she-wolf who liked him despite his flaws. He smiled lovingly down upon her and closed his eyes.

Willowpelt finally caught a fish. It was at least 20 inches long. She squirmed as it wiggled in her teeth. Laughing, she threw it to shore where Gryphon was siting. She hopped out of the water and shook herself off. The water flew every which way. She smiled proudly at her big catch.
