As shadow looked out of his den the snow had falled deep, he woke his pack to set out on a hunt, their target were bison that moved down to the forest juring heavy show, as the pack left the den the snow soon got deeper, they had to jump just to get their legs above the show, because shadow was alpha he had it hardest, cutting a channel through the snow for the others to follow in. as they aproched the bison they fanned out around the prey, their target was a calf, shadow leapt first, whinning and barking to make the bison run, it didnt work, they formed a tight circle pretecting the calf, as the rest of the pack tryed to find a way in, tigger went round the the side and climbed onto a rotting log, from there he jumped into the center of the herd scattering them, they stampieded. the wolves followed the bisons trail, making it easier for them, then the attack, the pack started running between the calf and its mum splitting it of, then they pounced grabbing the calf, slowing it down, shadow ran in and grabbed the calfs face and pulled it to the floor. then the pack tucked in, they wouldnt go hungry to day.
