"Before i let you past." She asked warily "why are you going to darkpack?"

"I know how you feel." Mari said quietly.  Her eyes were still looking at the ground.  By now, the sun had risen over the tree tops and spread a warm orange/red glow on the forest.

Aki stretched as the warm sun touched his coat. "Are you hungry?" He asked
