Lupus knocked into Luna driving her back towards a cliff over looking part of the river. She waited for him to shove again and dropped, rising back up and tripping lupus. Startled, Lupus slid down the embankment. He struggled to his feet, dazed and bloody. He howled to EmeraldPack, and stumbled around trying to get back up to the battle. Luna laughed then turned towards the others. She paused when she saw Kane's lifeless body, her vision blurred with anger and she set on Nyx.
 
Ebony danced out of the way, but not quick enough. He was hit hard by Nyx, and spun away from her out-stretched jaws.
 
Storm launched himself for Atra again, throwing her against the wall, his teeth bared over her throat.
"It's too late!" She snarled, "West knows where he belongs, beside his packmate: me!"
"No!" Storm growled, "You--you rabbithearted scum! Leave him alone!"
His rage made him tremble, his grip loosening a bit. In that split second Atra threw him off. "Too late!" she laughed, "West belongs with Darkpack now."
Blood staining the snow beneath her, Atra disappeared into the brawl.
 
Akira pleaded with west "please." She whimpered as he dodged away.
West noticed Ebony, and ran for him. He stood there, any tiny pup, and growled and the adults
 
Storm sprang into the battle after Atra, running into Nyx. "It's West--" she started.
"I know, he won't leave!"
 
Akira's heart shattered as she watched her son protect Ebony. She howled and raced to find Koga.

Koga had noticed Luna going for Nyx and intercepted her. He slammed into her. Luna yelped in surprise and toppled head over heels through the snow.
