Nyx stepped out of the shadows, still on her territory, her eyes were friendly but guarded.

Drawing her lips back, she revealed rows of powerful, blood-splashed teeth.

Nyx stood her ground, her ears flicking back uncertainly, a few tufts of hair stuck up along her spine.

Kinda far.

Her tail raised, her fur spiking up. Her paws kneaded the blanket of autumn leaves under her.

Nyx took a step back, her eyes wary, she wondered who the wolf was and what she was doing.

Turning her head to the side, her mouth opened a little wider, then she dashed off again.

Nyx thought about following her, but decided her pack was much more important. She turned around to find her mate.

Kappa skirted the border, continuously downwind to avoid her scent being blown around.

Kara was beginning to feel better and could balance herself enough to walk and fish. She padded off to the river and caught several fish and left them on a rock inside pinepack. She threw her head back and let out a "thank you" howl, before slipping off into the shared territory. She headed back to the river to hunt for herself. She had a renewed feeling about life, and wasn't gonna let being a loner get her sad.
