(I think it's time to stop this. Cedar was a fun character to RP so she's going out with a bang.)
Quartz charged at Atra. The dark she-wolf whipped around and slashed at Quartz. Quartz stumbled back and scored a hard blow on Atra's shoulder with her fangs. Atra charged for Quartz, bowling the smaller she-wolf over and sending them both rolling. Quartz slashed at her neck again and again, often drawing blood but not deep enough.
Cedar glanced at them, she knew Atra was winning. She didn't know why but a sharp stab of pain hit her as she remembered how many times she'd hunted alongside Quartz. I joined Darkpack because I wanted power. But what's more powerful, violence or loyalty you your pack of friends...
Atra slammed Quartz into a boulder, the Stonepack wolf yelped and crumpled, Atra standing over her triumphantly...
...What was I missing? Why did I join the wrong pack when everything I'd wanted was beside them...?
Cedar rushed forward, much to Atra's surprise. For a second the alpha was thrown aside, blood dripping from a wound in her side.
"Idiot!" she snarled, and lunged for Cedar faster than she had thought possible. Cedar leaped back but was too slow. Atra's teeth sank into her neck, sqeezing it until Cedar started to see black spots. The snow beneath her turned red, and she watched through half-closed eyes as Atra released and backed away.
"Cedar?!" Quartz said in shock, running over, "Why...it can't be too late, Cedar!!!"
"Aki..." she gasped, blood bubbled from her mouth, "tell him...tell...I loved him....his mate....okay?"
"Yes!" Quartz blurted out even though she didn't know it was true.
"Shouldn't...sorry...." Cedar's eyes flared with sadness, but her tail thumped halfheartedly on the ground.
And the wprld faded to darkness as Cedar closed her eyes for the last time.
(R. I. P. Cedar. But life goes on!)
Mari skidded to a halt, and stared down at Ceders body. She leaned against her mate, and closed her eyes. When she opened them again, they burned with anger. She stepped towards Atra menacingly snarling viciously. "Get off our land you stupid wolf".Aki paused staring at Cedar's body. He threw back his head, his howl filled the air with a sad mournful cry. Time seemed to slow in slightly, he looked around at his pack mates bloody and tired.
West yelped, he had scurried away, hiding, when he saw atra kill one of their own pack members. His body trembled with fear. He backed. Away slowly, trying to hide amongst the stonepack wolves.
Atra snarled, "This isn't the end!" she turned around and started to sprint toward the border.Mari skidded to a halt, and stared down at Ceders body. She leaned against her mate, and closed her eyes. Mari chased after her, and growled. "Run Atra! Don't ever show your face around here again!". Her snarl was deep and low.Atra snarled, "This isn't the end!" she turned around and started to sprint toward the border.
Mari breathed heavily, and turned. Everything was in a fog. Ceder was dead, and she had betrayed Stonepack. Mari shook her head, and trudged back to the den site.Atra glanced over her sholder but didn't stop. That stupid wolf had ruined her whole plan! How can a traitor betray BOTH sides?! she thought angrily.
