Sierra jerked her head around, and approached where West was hiding slowly. "I saw you there earlier," she said quietly. "I just wanted to thank you again." her ears drooped.

Mari picked her head up, and followed him. She knew where he was going, and there would definitely be prey there. Her stomach growled, and she couldn't wait to eat.

They finally entered the shared territory above stone and pine pack. Aki trotted towards a large clearing, sure enough there was prey, a large flock of turkeys moved around pecking, they followed a small herd of deer, that were shoving snow aside to get to the tender shoots of grass below. Aki looked back at Mari and Quartz "turkey or deer." He asked

"Don't be," Sierra said softly. "You were doing what your pack was doing. I just didn't stand a chance against you. I've never fought before." she whimpered.

Mari could hardly control herself. "Both" she breathed, grinning.

"Who goes for which?" Quartz said quietly.

"Who goes for which," Quartz said quietly.

"Two for deer, and one for turkey?" Mari offered.

"Don't be," Sierra said softly.  "You were doing what your pack was doing.  I just didn't stand a chance against you.  I've never fought before." she whimpered. 

"Darkpack, make me fight, all the time." He slowly stood, but his ears stayed down and his tail stayed tucked.

"Two for deer, and one for turkey?" Mari offered.

Aki looked at Mari and Quartz, and their wounds "you two grab, at least two, maybe three turkeys." He said "I've got the deer." Before they could object he disappeared into shrubs.

"Darkpack, make me fight, all the time." He slowly stood, but his ears stayed down and his tail stayed tucked.

Sierra looked confused. "But, I thought you wanted to join.... them." she said almost inaudible.
