Kara sat on the bank of the river with her pup and her pack. She watched as the small flames licked over what was once their den site. She listened to the mournful howls coming from stone pack, adding to the sadness of watching her home burn. The fire was beginning to die, the snow quenching the earth and snuffing out the flames, keeping embers from burning.

Lupus realized that seera wasn't with the pack. "Maybe she got somewhere safe." He thought. Then he shook his, he looked at Jasmine "I'll be back." Then he raced off into the smouldering forest calling for Seera. "SEERA!?" He barked over the crackling flames.

Jasmine limped over with the rest of the pack. She whimpered.

Seera didnt answer, she was too tired, she could barely breath
