After more than an hour the final pup was born, it was still born. Koga whined, helplessly at the lifeless pup.

Akira could barely speak "koga." Her hoarse voice barely audible. "Wh.....?" She couldn't finish.
Koga whined, a lump in his throat "a boy and a girl." He said "both gray."
Akira closed her eyes. "Wren...." she breathed ".....and..... Rebel.." she let out a slow breath and then passed away.
"No.....no.....no....no!!" Koga shook his head whimpering, he nudged her frantically "please Akira, no!"

Yuki looked at Akira sadly, then glanced at Koga with apologetic eyes

Koga's howl rose and fell in sharp high pitched eerie tones. The two newborn pups Ren and Rose,whimered for their mother's warmth and milk.

Sky froze when she heard her father's sad howl. "Oh no." She said, thinking something was wrong with the pups. She raced off to find them

Sky skidded to a halt when she saw the rest of the pack and her mother's body. "Mom?" She said her voice small.

Koga quieted and looked at his daughter. "Sky..." he didn't know what to say.
