Senkah panted as the last pup slid out onto the moss she had prepared. 5 bundles of fur suckled at her belly, and she looked at them with bittersweet sorrow. The last pup was a female, but looked almost exactly like Hades. Tears gathered at the corners of Senkah's eyes when she saw the pup.

Nike trotted back to his mother's den to see his siblings. But stopped when he saw a faint outline of Senkah in her den. "Senkah?" He asked, startled. "Are you okay?" He hurried to her den.
