Sky walked back into the main den site. She could hear the pups playing in the den and smiled. Suddenly she heard a deep snarl and was knocked head over heels. "Yoooow." She yelped trying to scramble to her feet. She looked and saw her father standing in the middle of the den site, a deep, menacing snarl, shaking his body.
"What have you done?' He growled "where were you?"

Shadow appeared carrying a rabbit in his jaws "What's going on?" He asked dropping the rabbit

West looked back, then trotted off. He put his nose to the ground sniffed for rabbit.

Mari looked up at her mate and smiled. "Healing." She sighed. Then a troubled expression washed over her face. "Aki, what do you think of Senkah leading this pack alone? She ought to have mate to help her." Mari stared into space, deep in thought.

Sierra listened to her mates footsteps pad away, then sat down and sighed deeply. Her father walked away, towards her mothers den.
