Atra's ears pricked. Before snarling she recognized the howl. It's Nighta! she thought, howling back.


Splash nodded, "Thanks, I think I'll follow them."

Yukon nodded and trotted to his den to sleep.

Nighta raced up river. Howling again. "Atra!" He barked

Mari walked over, and laid down beside her mate. Chayton growled quietly, but Scarlet trotted close to Aki, and Mari, "Hi," She said shyly. "I'm Scarlet."

Mari nuzzled Aki, and looked down lovingly at the pups. She stared at Chayton, and smiled. Oh how he looks like Shadow. She murmured, and leaned against Aki. Rain and Thunder sat together watching the pups and the betas. Elan snuck behind Mari and Aki, and lunged for Aki's wagging tail.
