Mel smiled at Sitka. "I think there are some deer over there, you want to hunt?"

Aki stumbled to his feet. "Mari! Leave!" He barked and shakily got between Mari and Nighta.
Nighta laughed and lunged for Aki.
Aki jumped out of the way and turned, he slammed into Nighta.
Nighta yelped and slammed into a rock, his body collapsed, and he blacked out.
Aki turned to Mari. "Go home!"

Nebrivo heard the snarls and yips in the distance. It was the rest of Stonepack fighting Darkpack. He looked at Quartz, sleeping with her pups. Should he go fight? What if he didn't come back alive?
