Lightning shooed Nikki and Wind away from the den, and turned to Elan. Feeling her courage leave her for about the 50th time that day, she opened her mouth to speak. "E-elan... will... will you...?" Her words died in her throat.

"Hard decision." Ebony growled. "Both promise good revenge." He looked at Atra. "What ever one you wish." He decided finally.

Elan turned slightly, and nodded. "I'll leave. You probably want some time alone." He thought she wanted him to leave. He got up, and started padding out of her den.
