(Ebony got in a fight with Hougen, a Darkpack wolf who wanted to be beta and killed him. I got lost after that."

Nebrivo howled with pain, and his body shook with pain.

Back in Pine Pack, Hex was being tended to by Daisy. That silver wolf had torn a hole in the side of his face. It was jagged, and shaped like a "Z". "Hold still, Hex!" Daisy growled. She was dabbing water on the wound, which had stopped bleeding. "I hope I killed that rabbit-brained fool!" Hex growled, furiously.

Quartz winced and nudged the pups aside. She found more of the fur and tried to stop the bleeding from one of Nebrivo's wounds.

Slowly, the blood stopped flowing from his wounds. Nebrivo was weak, and just wanted to die, but he knew he shouldn't. His mate and pups needed him!
