"Help! I think Aki's hurt!" Quartz shouted, trying to yank him onto his feet.

Aki stumbled to his feet, "I'm ooooo........" his voice faded and he blacked out, his wounds were still bleeding and he had lost alot of blood

Shadow woke to a bundle of pups climbing all over him and renn, the pups were growing fast and the demand for food was great. shadow nuzzled renn telling her it was time to hunt, they left the pups at the den. their territory was small and they soon left it and entered the pinepacks ground. shadow put his nose in the air, caribu (reindeer), aand lots of them. renn and shadow moved up to a quick lolop. the trees flashed by, after days stuck by the den renn was glad to feel the wind on her face. as they aproached the caribu they slowed down, shadow pressed his body against the ground and started prowling forwards while renn went round to flank. shadow leapt out of the grass, scattering them towards renn, renn grabed a caribu bye the throat and pulled it to a stop. it was a yearling. shadow leapt onto its back and bit behind its ears, its knees buckled and it fell to the floor. when renn and shadow had eaten their fill, they covered the carcass in grass and headed back to the den. as they got to their territory boarder the came to a hault. blocking their path was a big grizzly bear mother with two cubs, shadow grabbed a cub and headed of the way they'd came drawing the mothers attention and allowing renn to pass, shadow threw the cub into a pile of leaves, went round the flank of the bear and headed home, the bears were coming out of hidernation and that was bad news for the wolves!!!!!

the pups were now 4months old and they were growing faster by the day, shadow decided to expand the territory, they were growing into a small pack, they were the BeechTreeCreek pack.
shadow headed out to mark his territory.
