AT first, Nebrivo only saw Mel's shadow as she entered, and this startled him. He leaped to his feet, lunged at Mel, and snarling, he asked in an unfamiliar, raspy voice, "Who are you?!"

Quartz wearily glanced at the den entrance, "Oh....Mel!"

Nebrivo stopped snarling and backed away. "I didn't recognize you at first..." he said.

Mel jumped back, startled by Nebrivo's reaction. "Uh, Melossa... Remember me?"

"Sorry, I didn't recognize you at first... I do have a mate and pups, now. I guess I'm just a little on edge..."

Thunder was stunned. "You almost killed him." He snarled.  He stepped toward Aki and West, ready to take both of them on. 

Nike gazed groggily at the three wolves.  His father, Aki, and West.  Each of them he loved dearly, and couldn't let any of them get hurt.  "ENOUGH!!!" He yowled.  "STOP!  If darkpack senses the tension in our pack, they will attack and we wont be ready to defend ourselves!!!!!" Nike's voice rang authority, that he really didn't feel at that time.  But he squared his shoulders and held his head high, trying to act like the alpha he was. 

Aki snarled at Nike. He didn't like the younger wolf telling him what to do. He turned his back on thunder and Nike and started to pad away, his tail and high, in defiance.

West looked at Nike, he wasn't sure what to do.
