"I'm afraid its going to be yours instead," Sheila growled.

Kara wandered, feeling lonely, before she realized it she was back at the egde of darkpack again. "Why do i keep getting drawn here?" She wondered. She walked along the edges, staring into the dark forest.

Atra snarled, "Back to puppy games, sister, then?" she spat out the word like poison.

Sheila's ears pinned back against her head as she lunged for Atra. "This is far from that, mutt!"

Atra tried to leap aside, but Sheila's teeth sank into her pelt. She felt blood flowing from the wound. Full of fury, she wheeled straight for her sister with her paws aiming for her neck.

Sheila was surprisingly silent as Atra's claws sank into her neck. She jabbed her paw at the spot on Atra's chest where the heart was unprotected.
