He suddenly smelled his favorite meal..... Wild Guinea Fowl. He licked his chops and stalked towards the grazing Guinea. He crept closer and closer, until he was with-in catching range, when his stomach growled. The Guinea jerked its head up, and Ebony knew it was too late. The Guinea spread its wings, and Ebony crouched ready to leap into the air. But, the Guinea didn't fly. Instead it dashed off, squawking its head off. Ebony stopped and stared at the fleeing Guinea for a second. Then he took off at top speed chasing the Guinea as fast as he could go. He lost all sense of direction, and raced across Stonepacks border. That didn't slow him down. I better catch this stupid bird now, or I'll be caught! he thought. In a flash the bird veered to the left, and Ebony leaped over a bush to meet the bird on the other side. He rushed forward, but, to his surprise.... there was no bird there! What?! he thought. How in the world? He looked to the right and saw a large hole, just under the bush. Ahhh... he thought. He put his head in, but the hole was to small. He sighed, and looked up. His eyes focused on something that dashed behind a bush, not far away. And he smelled Stonepack. I'm so stupid! he said to himself angrily. He started to run, but heard thundering footsteps behind him getting closer and closer.

Quartz sniffed the air, "Yum birds...wait, is that DARKPACK?!"
 
Ebony shuddered. A face-off with Stonepack would be horrible, with West at camp. He whispered to himself.
 
Quartz smelled Darkpack stronger than ever now, she started to walk around the boulder...
