"Are you sure you can go into Darkpack's territory and not get torn apart in revenge?" Storm asked, he didn't want to get anyone hurt who wasn't part of the rescue.

Aki dug in and quickened his pace, he got alongside the buck, and grabbed for its throat. His teeth sank, his body weight slowing the creature down. He hung on as the animal flailed in a panic.

Mari's grip weakened and she tumbled off as the buck whirled around. She groaned and got up. She grimaced, when she stepped forward.
