"Well... I did... he was attacked by another wolf named Storm... he died before you came here, I went to the tree we barried him at yesterday..."
A tear fell from Jasmines eye,
"He was in pain as bad as you..."
 
Atra slammed her paws into Quartz, who was caught in the ribs. She yelped and rolled away, lunging at Atra.
 
Storm padded into the denning site, panting and tired from the failed hunt. Nyx trotted up to him, "Yuki had her pups!"
 
Atra jumped back, and Quartz's teeth snapped shut with a sharp click onto nothing. Atra leaped at her again and bowled her over.
