Aki sat up, his ears pricked, listening to the howl at the border. He cocked his head and got to his feet. He trotted off towards the border.

"You still tried to kill me!" Aki snarled

"I'm sorry" lupus whimpered "I just have a question..."

"Speak." Aki barked

"There is a young wolf, new in our pack, he is looking for his mother.." lupus said

"And...." aki grew impatient.

"Her name is Mari." Lupus stated

Mari looked out of the den site, and wondered what Aki was doing. She decided to go find him, and padded quickly towards his scent, and heard growling. She charged through the forest and stopped close to Aki. "Aki?" she asked calmly but her hackles rose in spiky bristles along her shoulders and back. "What is he doing here?" she snarled, her eyes narrowed into slits.
