Before Arcturus filled the hole, Senkah touched her nose against her mate's one last time. Tears slipped onto Hades' fur as Senkah murmured something to him. "Maya tuoy rista de laffinas, mi't frisen. Yuoy frisen tuoy, Hades." With this, Senkah gave Hades one last nuzzle before Arcturus filled the hole and Midnight and Willow placed a large stone over it. Senkah sighed painfully, not able to fight the stream of tears anymore.

Aki rose his head slowly and started a low, mournful howl

Senkah, Willow, Midnight, and Arcturus raised their heads and howled, tears streaming down their faces.


Several hours after Hades' funeral, Senkah went up to West. "You may stay here at Stonepack. I know that you are not a Darkpack wolf." She forced a small smile.
