Onyx howled for Mari, then sat down, smiled at Silver.

Mari loped through the trees, her paws stepping silently. She swung her head around, to pick up any scents. Suddenly she saw Onyx, with another female wolf. She cocked her head, then stepped out of the bushes, her hackles bristled slightly, staying on her territory. "Hello Onyx." She smiled, even though her body language was slightly aggressive.

West waited for his sister to answer "sky?" He urged "you can tell me." His brow furrowed.
"I......I.....I got pregnant by a pine pack wolf, then a new wolf joined our pack and they called her a traitor for breeding with a roving male, and.....and...dad attacked me for meeting with pine and...." her body trembled and her voice cut off by a whimper. "I can't go back.... can I?" She wept.
West was shocked by her news, a dangerous liaison with another pack male, and their meek and mild father attacking, stunned him to silence. "Have you talked to the pine pack wolf? Asked if you could join them?" He regretted his words
"What I can't join your pack!?" She growled halfheartedly.
"No...I just thought you would want to be with the father." He said. "Of course you could stay here."

Aki growled and stepped from his hiding spot "just a minute west!" Aki barked.

Melli barked. Kapu jumped up,

"He is by our den with mommy!"
Kapu ran out of the den and past the pups. The pups followed behind trying to catch up with him.
