shadow lead the pack out down to the river, this year there were no pups, just him, renn, twig, tigger, flake and milo. they went down to the river and drank, the warm evening sun shone down on the golden brown autum leaves. after they drank shadow and renn lay down together on the bank in the sun, grooming each other,
"we are so lucky" said renn
"i know" replied shadow
twig, tigger and milo went into the river to swim, but flake, who didnt know wether she could swim stayed in the very shallows and watched her brothers play.

Aki laughed and danced around playfully, he was so happy, he threw his back a joyful song sounding from his mouth.

Elan pranced outside of her den, growling at his brother.  Even though they had grown older, they still played with each other.  Elan froze, and looked into Lightning's den.  "Lightning?!" He cried. 

Leona sighed tiredly, and closed her eyes.
