Aki's legs kicked, fervently as he heard Mari's sobs. "Ma.........ri......" he said between ragged breathes, "I............won't...........leave........you." each word was hard to speak and he was even sure he was making a sound.

Sierra whimpered, and laid down beside him.

Mari listened intently to her mate. She didn't reply, only burst into another bought of tears.
