Quartz wondered whether to tell her about Cedar, she wanted the other wolf to know why no one was going to trust her.

Hollystep looked at the plant. She knew it was important, but couldn't remember why. She sighed.

Nebrivo looked back at Quartz, nervous. Fear was eminent in his eyes, and he nervously paced from Quartz, back ahead to the front of the wolf trio, and then back to Quartz. He was anxious to get back to the pups, but was not about to leave Quartz alone with this... intruder.

"If y'all need to go somewhere, I'll follow, or stay here. Whatever y'all want" she said.

"I don't know..." Nebrivo said.

(I imagine his voice as sounding similar to that of Simba from The Lion King II)

Aki shook his head, "not at first." He looked at Mari, his eyes and tone serious and somber. "I can't stay here."


West skidded to a halt when he saw Sierra and Nike by a strange wolf. "Sierra?" He said quietly, eyeing Nike.

"What?!" Mari whimpered. "No, Aki, please, you can't leave me again.... we have pups, and I can't bear for you to leave me again!" Her voice became a plea. Then she straightened. "I will go where ever you go. We all will. Us and our pups." Mari's jaw was set in determination.

Sierra turned. "West!"
Nike whirled around, his lip curled in disgust. Then he hurried to his den, "Senkah?" He called, his voice cracking.
