While she waited to see if the alphas would come she glanced at Hollystep. "I..." Quartz started, "I think I have to tell you something."
 
Quartz nodded. "A few months ago, Stonepack found a lone wolf named Cedar who said she'd ran away from Darkpack. Well...it wasn't true. She was still with them. It was her fault there was a huge battle over there," --Quartz pointed with her tail--"She died in it. Atra killed her for switching sides at the last minute. I don't know if anyone still cares about her, but a lot of wolves were hurt in the battle. None of us are going to forget it soon."

"That's right." Nike said, walking up to them, blood still dripping from his nose and mouth. "And there is another story, but you don't need to know that now." He looked at Quartz, trying to see if she trusted this wolf.

Aki jogged along side her. "Mari...." he hesitated "you should know, the pack we are going..." he didn't quiet know how to say it "A wolf lives there, and well she was kinda my mate." He looked away, ashamed.

West nuzzled Sierra. "Thank you." He whispered. Then he spotted Aki and Mari, entering on the outskirts of camp. "Come on." He nudged Sierra and then trotted over towards Aki and Mari.
 
Senkah sat in her den, looking at one of the pups below her. It was dead; it had failed to thrive. Senkah's grief slowly turned into bitterness and hatred...

Yato fell asleep and dreamed about Sotob and the Darkpack
