"No." Sierra whispered.  "West... I need to get out of here. He'll kill me!" She rasped, her eyes wild with fear.

"That one." Thunder whispered, pointing to an old deer. 

"Shhh... he won't." West said protectively. "Besides, you can't go anywhere in this condition." He looked out at the forest. "Stay here. I'm gonna go find Thunder, He'll know what to do." West padded from the den. 'Why couldn't you just stay and challenge for the alpha roll Aki?' He thought. As he bolted into the forest, hot on thunder's scent. "Thunder!" He howled as he got further away from the dens.

Lacy eyed the deer, and without waiting, bolted from her hiding spot charging at the herd. The herd spooked, and Lacy ran right into the center. She smiled and raced through the herd and into the forest on the other side, disappearing from sight. "I'm free!" She barked.

Mari slashed her fangs at Kara's face, snarling viciously.

Kara yelped and stumbled back, blindly as blood oozed from a gouge above her eyes.

Aki snarled as he drove Lupus to the ground, pinning him and grabbing him by the throat. "We are here to challenge you for this land!" Aki growled. And then something slammed into his side, sending him flying, he twisted and grabbed the new attacker by the scruff, hurling her to the ground. It was safina.

"No! Don't hurt her!" Kara whined when she heard her daughter yelp. "We submit, we submit."

Lupus looked at her, astonished.

Lightning ran down to the ravine that went through Emeraldpack and Stonepack territory; this was where North and Sylver had often met in secret. Sylver was lying down, and North was standing over her, worried with all the blood she was losing.

Elan hurried over, "North, how long has she been like this?" He asked, staring hard at the wolf.

Elan sprinted away, "MOM!" He howled.

Rain launched away, to the forest. Elan saw her, then turned, and ran back to Sylver, Rain hot on his heels.

West saw thunder in e clearing. "Thunder!" He barked as he ran up, "Sierra is in trouble!" He panted, "Nike attacked her, she didn't do anything and he tried to kill her."
