"Alright," Lightning said, going to her mother's den. She quietly padded in, "mom?"

Senkah looked up, the same fire in her eyes. "Leave," she snarled.

North nodded, understanding. "I don't know what happened to my mom..."

Elan nodded, and started walking back to their den.
"Lightning?" Nike's gruff voice demanded.

"There are some newborn pups... their mother died."

Mari smiled at Kara, and sprinted to her pups. "They are still young, and still drink milk." She smiled at Safina, and ducked inside the hollow. Summer was curled around Tala fast asleep. Foal stood, his chest puffed out, standing guard. "Momma!" He shrieked when he saw her.

Thunder held his low posture, but his muscles loosened. "Take me to her." He nodded.

Gray growled at the scent of stranger wolves. "Mom?" He eyed the den entrance curiously "who's out there?" Aki sat at the den entrance waiting for Mari to bring out the pups. "This way!" West barked and charged off into the woods.

Lacy raced through the trees wildly, twisting this way and that, excited by her new surroundings. She suddenly skidded to a halt at the edge of a territory(pinepack), the scent was unfamiliar, and everywhere were towering pines, making the forest ahead appear dark.

"What do you want me to do about it." Nike's voice was hard.

Gray growled at the scent of stranger wolves. "Mom?" He eyed the den entrance curiously "who's out there?"
Aki sat at the den entrance waiting for Mari to bring out the pups.

"This way!" West barked and charged off into the woods.

"They are friends. They want to meet you." Mari said gently, scooting them to the entrance. Summer bounded out, but his between her father's legs. Faolen growled, and bristled his short fur.

Thunder sprinted after him, worry stricken.

Birch loped through the territory, hunting, and marking. Her chocolate brown coat blended with her surroundings so that she only looked like a floating shadow.
