Mari smiled, she laid on her side, nursing North, and her own pups. Summer growled and pawed at one of North's pups, then went back to eating hungrily.

Wind stayed in the shadow of a few trees, watching his mother on the high rock half reverently, half fearfully.

Lightning whined as she lay down on a rock.

Aki smiled at the pups. Then padded out of the den. He walked off into the woods and stopped at the border, he laid on a large rock staring into the forest. He felt so conflict... he was happy that his family was safe and that he was an alpha, but at the same time he couldn't shake the feeling that they should've stuck it out in stonepack, stayed to help. He felt like they had given up and run with their tails between their legs. He sighed and rested his head on his paws.
