Venus and Stripe sat by themselves, quietly talking to one another. They picked up on the way that the other wolves looked at them; somehow, they knew they were different.

Aki padded into camp, he was carrying a large tom turkey, that had wondered into his line of sight while out marking the territory. He set it down and barked, calling for Mari and the pups.
Tala yapped and rushed the kill, she was much smaller than her siblings, the runt, and was always bullied from the food, so she yanked a large piece of meat off and bolted to eat alone.
Gray sturtted up to the kill, he was large but Aki was getting annoyed by the pup's attidude. Gray laid down and began ripping into the bird
