Quartz padded back towards the dens, wondering where her mate was.

Lightning felt her stomach give a sudden lurch. "We got here in perfect timing..." She rushed to what was the old high rock, going through the moss and lichen that lined the entrance to the den.

Elan was digging in the ground, and emerged with a vole. "Lightning?!" He called, looking side to side.

"In here," she panted, her sides shuddering. She grit her teeth as she felt the laboring pains start. "Elan... The pups..!"

Hollystep perked her ears. "Hey, Quartz" she said quietly. She still wasn't accepted in the pack, so she was nervous.

Elan sprinted to the den, "Anything I can do?!" He cried, his eyes wild.

"Darkus." He snarled, and twisted.  His breath was cut off. 

Aki bit down harder, then twisted away and dashed into the shadows disappearing. He sprinted with all his might, headed for the river pack border.

Blizzard walked quietly through stone pack den site. He was on edge, because of everything going on with Senkah. He sighed as he watched the pack.

Rebel slowly got to his feet. He wondered around not knowing what to do. He felt so alone, his normal happy personality was now a shadow of sadness. He flopped back to ground and whined.

Aki bit down harder, then twisted away and dashed into the shadows disappearing. He sprinted with all his might, headed for the river pack border.

Darkus snarled after him, then flopped down, and let the darkness overtake him.

Scarlet turned away, scanning the site for Elan.
