" Mm, we might be getting some injured wolfs in soon..This fire does not seem to be letting down..Thankfully though it is going in the oppisite direction then us..Good because Kia and princess's pups barley opened their eyes..Did you get a chance to see them?" He said looking at his mate's changing emotions..

"Just briefly," Gardenia said, trying to keep her voice from sounding distracted. "I looked around for more members, but I think we have a good start to our pack."

He nodded " I just hope the unmated females dont get antsy and run off to get mates..My sister ran off to have pups as soon as she was able to have pups.." He sighed..Looking around he smiled.." Well, we have enough land to have the largest pack..If need be someday we might make treaties or take over other packs..Not kill them if it can be helped..For all that matters to me is you and my pack" He said nuzzling his mate..

Rebel spotted Nyx, he raced down the river to where boulder sat just above the water. He leapt to, falling to his knees as pain shot up his legs. He watched and waited for Nyx, hoping he could grab her as she was swept towards him.

Marzipan reached his paw up and grabbed Rebel's. Marzipan still had hold of the drowning Nyx. "Hold on" he howled.

Nyx slammed out of her paws into the tree, trying to slow herself down. She scrabbled at the bark with the other, tearing pieces into the water.
