Gray led his Mother back to where Aki laid with Tala.
"Mari." Aki whispered, his voice thick with tears, and strained with pain.
"Mom?" Tala gasped, her breathing ragged and shallow.
Gray walked over to his sister, laying his head on her side gently.
Aki got up and walked over to Mari. "Are you okay? Where were you?"

"Fighting." Mari replied, then hurried to her daughter. She licked Tala's face, her own strained and worried. "Where are Faolen and Summer?" She asked, looking around.

"I...I don't know." Aki said, his brow furrowed, "The attack happened so fast and we were so out numbered, I didn't even want to take Tala out there but I couldn't find you or the others, I haven't seen them since before the attack." his voice was panicky. Then in a low voice he whispered in her ear. "Luna caught her by the throat, the wound is bad, and it won't stop bleeding....."His voice trailed off he didn't want to finish the sentence.

Blizzard's eyes popped open, a frustrated look on his face. "Ugh!" He growled, shaking his head, he couldn't concentrate long enough on the task at hand, every 10 seconds he thought of sitka. "forget it.'' he mumbled, and walked off to a small hill, he plopped down in the sun.

Nike bolted after them, hearing Chayton's barks.

Mist nodded, sniffing through her stuffy nose.

"Lick it. Aki, you've got to lick it. I'm going to find some cobwebs." Mari replied, already trotting off. Her words were odd, and curt, panic rising within her heart. "SUMMER! FAOLEN!" She barked, before wrapping her muzzle in the sticky webs.
 
North and Wind dug furiously, worry clouding their gaze as Nikki had fallen deathly quiet. A lack of proper oxygen had forced her into unconsciousness.

"What's wrong?"
