Wind saw the form of Scarlet in the water farther down the river. He grit his teeth, forcing down his emotions for her. Why don't I just go see Sylvana and Zero instead? They're always mooning around after you, Wind. He picked up his fish and began to head back to camp.

"I guess." Senkah replied.

Thrushpelt and Spottedleaf yipped. Spottedleaf wrenched off a wing and ran off with it, Thrushpelt following her. Lightning laughed, shaking her head as she watched the pups.

"Please don't kill me." Ebony mimicked, and lunged for her scruff. "Just passing through eh? *Chuckle, chuckle* I'm afraid we don't like wolves who 'just pass through'." He snarled.

Scarlet stopped at the border, when the scent of Wind reached her nose. Her heart gave a lurch, and she found herself padding towards him. "W-Wind?" She called quietly.

"Really?!" Nike yelped, nuzzling her excitedly like a young pup. "What do you want to hunt? Deer? Fish? Rabbits? Birds?" He bounced around.

(Shoot, I don't remember my pup's names.

Elan shook his head, chuckling, and nudged the pheasant closer to his mate.
 
Wind exhaled, before turning around to look at Scarlet. "What?"

"Anything."

(Morninglark and Shadowfur, I think)

Lightning lay down, and began to eat.

Yelping Tia jumped back.." I was looking for a pack okay..my parents left the den and got taken by human..(that is what she thinks anyway..).. Tia cowered on the ground not wanting to receive anymore anger..

"Doesn't your nose work well enough to scent the border?! This is Darkpack you pup!" Ebony spat, his lip curled.

Scarlet sat down, staring at her paws. "I j-just wanted to thank you. You've been so kind; catching things for me." She giggled; "I think I'm getting fat!" She smiled, then looked down again. "Um, w-would you like to go hunting?" She didn't dare meet his eyes, but inside, her heart was pounding with hopefulness.

"Really? Um, okay, come'on!" Nike nosed her shoulder, then took off, turned, nosed her again, and bounced a few feet from the camp entrance. A bright smile covered his face from ear to ear.

(Oh! Now I remember! Meadowlark, and Timberfur!!

Elan smiled, tearing off a small piece and scooting over to her. "You okay?" He asked gently, nuzzling her.

Timber fur barreled at his brother, a playful puppy snarl sounding loudly from his chest. "I'm Darkpack! You better give me that, or else!" He growled.
 
"Alright." He put the fish down and buried it to get it later. "What do you want to hunt?"

Senkah half heartedly trotted after him.

"Yeah, my foot's just acting up a bit."

"No!" Spottedleaf said, throwing the wing into the air. Thrushpelt leaped up and got it.

"It's mine now!" He yelled, running off with it.

"Hey!" Spottedleaf ran after him.

"Um," Scarlet didn't move. She had hoped his response would have been better. "Don't know. What do you feel like?" She asked quietly.

Nike bounced around like a young pup, nosing her every now and then. "The wind feels great huh?" He yipped.

Elan smiled sadly, and licked her.

Meadowlark stood in his path, her lip curled. "Going someplace?" She growled.
Timberfur grinned. "As you can see," He began; "My beta is very trustworthy."
 
"I saw a herd of elk not too far from here. Want to do that?" He kept inwardly reminding himself that Scarlet was just a packmate.

"Yeah." Senkah gave a small nod.

She nuzzled him.

"Nope!" Thrushpelt threw the wing away, and it skid across the ground, kicking up dust.

"Don't play with your food!" Lightning called.
