Gray yowled as the teeth of the attacker cut his belly. He rolled away, jumping to his feet. 'be patient, wait for an opening' the words of his dad rang in his mind. He growled, his head low, his lips curled, he circled,Storm.

Storm circled, his steps in sync with Gray's. The muscles in his powerful hind legs were bunched up, waiting for Gray's attack.

Gray watched for an opening, but his lack of skill in combat didn't show him one. He snarled, ''What do you want?''

Gray snarled at Atra, but kept his eyes on Talc.
Aki flew at Atra from the bushes. ''Hi'' he snarled as he leapt for her back.
Gray turned to Tala ''Take her!'' He said.
Tala ran up, her fangs snapping as she lunged for Talc's face.
Gray spun just in time to see Nighta come barreling out of Shadows followed by Storm. He growled and leapt at the older wolf.
Nighta Laughed at the tiny pup and ran at Aki.

Atra spun around but was surprised. She stumbled backwards instead of running and was pinned. Snarling in frustrastion, she snapped at his face.

Talc started to inch away, searching her mind for where the rest of Darkpack should be.
