Rebel raced along the shore, ignoring his wounded paws. He saw Nyx and Marizpan struggling in the water. He forced himself to go faster, trying to get ahead, trying to figure out how to help.

Rebel nodded, "Okay." He barked. But he didn't know......up ahead he saw a tree that had fallen and was badly scorched. He leapt onto, trying to go slow and not fall in the water. Carefully he crossed the log and jumped to the other bank. He scanned the water trying to find Nyx again.

Princess moved slightly out of the way..A large female pup with dark gray fur whined as her mother moved away..A white and gray male cuddled closer to his sister..The last wolf was a light gray with a white tipped tail..She sniffed at the new comers..

Larosha smiled at Princess. "Nice to meet you." She gave her a curt nod. "Strong, healthy pups you have." She added. "How old are they?" She asked.

Rebel spotted Nyx, he raced down the river to where boulder sat just above the water. He leapt to, falling to his knees as pain shot up his legs. He watched and waited for Nyx, hoping he could grab her as she was swept towards him.
