Rebel was lost, he couldn't find the river. His lungs ached with each breath of smoke. His eyes burned, he could hardly see. His paws were tattered, blistered and bleeding. He dragged himself along, praying the river was just ahead.

Nightfang came sprinting in, "Night, Atra!" He howled.

"What is it?" Nighta growled impaitently

Blizzard's ear shot up as his eyes fell upon Sitka. "Your dinner didn't want to be eaten either?" He smiled

rebel yelped startled by the sudden 'attack'. he struggled to keep his feet beneath him. "Who is it?" He rasped

Sitka laughed. "I guess not!"

a dreamy stare came over Blizzard's face, her laugh was so lovely. "I wish she would be my mate." He said, though he thought he was only saying it In his mind.

Jacy wondered, scared and alone. She had only been with out her mother a couple days, and the world seemed so big and lonely. She unknowingly crossed into thunder pack territory

rebel yelped startled by the sudden 'attack'. he struggled to keep his feet beneath him. "Who is it?" He rasped

"Frostfur," the wolf said through his fur. She leaped into the air and dove into the river, holding Rebel's head above the water with her own.

(Frostfur is Kate; I changed her name.)

A sly smile crossed Sitka's muzzle, and she dove into the water, pelting Blizzard with water.

Sunfire, Breeze, and Lightning patrolled the Thunderpack borders, renewing scents.
