Scarlet groaned, forcing herself to walk to their den. Her legs were stiff and she hobbled inside then flopped wearily on the ground. Every five minutes a deep, agonizing pain rippled through her. What?!" Wind's eyes grew to the size of full moons. He quickly licked her forehead, "I'll be back!" He called, pelting as fast as he could to the dens. "Everyone! Scarlet's having her pups!!
Sierra jerked upright. She hurried from her and West's den, running to him. "Where is she? Is she doing okay?"
Wind saw her go to their den out of the corner of his eye. "S-she's at our den. She just started... I don't know. Please hurry!" Wind yelped.
Sierra smiled comfortingly. "Wind, take it easy. Scarlet has helped many she-wolves give birth. She'll do just fine." she said, then turned and padded swiftly toward their den. Nike came up behind Wind. "She'll be fine." he chuckled, resting his tail on Wind's shoulders for a moment. "But, I'm sure she would like you to be there."
Scarlet panted heavily, but smiled when Sierra came in. "Finally the little buggers are comin'." she chuckled, then whined. Sierra laughed. "You okay?" "Oh sure." Scarlet said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. Sierra smirked. "Okay, I'll send Wind in here. You tell him to get someone if you need help."
"Y-yeah." Wind nodded, rushing away. Before he went to their den, he got a stick. "Here, my love," he nudged the stick to Scarlet, watching her anxiously.
Scarlet smiled, taking the stick. "Th-thanks Wind." she whined, her whole body shivered in pain, and she rubbed her head on his chest for comfort.
