Quote: Sierra hurried behind him, and soon they reached Sahara and her father. Sierra knew this wolf would need to fight hard for her life. A large male wolf stood away from the group, his sharp eyes watching every movement. "Who is he?" Sierra asked Rebel in a hushed tone while packing the wounds with herbs.

A large male wolf stood away from the group, his sharp eyes watching every movement. "Who is he?" Sierra asked Rebel in a hushed tone while packing the wounds with herbs.

"He's her father." Rebel whispered, never taking his eyes off Sahara. "will she be alright?"

West stood only a couple feet from Sierra, he glared at the old wolf, he had seen the bite on the she-wolf, knew they were on emerald's land, and saw the scratched and bruises on Rebel, he knew enough to peice together the story. He didn't trust the old male wolf, West told himself he was just on edge, but there was just something about the way the male held himslef that didn't sit right with him.

Quote: Sierra sat back but didn't look at Rebel. "She needs to fight hard... very hard." she told him, then gestured with her muzzle. "We need to keep her warm. I think she's going into shock." she said. She looked around, "I think it would be best to bring her to a den. Are there any vacant one's around here?" she asked Rebel.

The older wolf narrowed his eyes at West, then flattened his ears and stared at the motionless form of his daughter. Tears welled in his hardened eyes.

"Here." West said, shifting his gaze. Rebel cocked his head, wondering how he knew of a den.
West walked about a hundred feet away, and yanked at some old vines and tall grasses. He wrenched a log out of the way, revealing a large cave, with dead leaves and cool moss on the floor. "Will this work?" He asked Sierra

"Perfect." Sierra replied, "Rebel, I need you to get her head, West her back, and I'll get under her." she told them. "Oh my goodness she's so thin." she mumbled under her breath, taking her position. Sahara made a soft moaning sound, but did not move.

Rebel and West did as told. Rebel eased her upward.
West grimaced as he felt every bone in the poor wolf's body. His eyes flashed as he turned to the old wolf. "Why don't you go find her something to eat!"

Quote: Her father, much less skinny than Sahara, curled his lip back but padded off through the bushes.
They laid Sahara down on the moss and leaves, and as they did, her eyes opened. "Rebel.. talk to her, you're the only one she knows." she told him, then went and sat next to West. "Poor thing, she's going to have to fight to live." she whispered to him, giving a small, hopeful smile. "We've given her a fighting chance though."

Quote: Chayton watched his mate with warm, loving eyes. He flopped onto his side, rolling around and scratching his back.

Mist frowned in curiosity. "No... why do you think I am?" she asked, getting up and wincing.

Meadowlark lunged at Timber, pinning the stunned pup to the ground and snarling in his face. "Gotcha Timber." she giggled, putting her front paws on his floppy ears. Timber tried to lift his head, only to be stopped by his ears planted to the ground by Meadowlark. "Lemme go!" he grumbled, flailing his paws. Meadowlark squeaked with laughter, stepping away. Timber growled, smashing into her and sent her tumbling. "Ow!" she squeaked, but got up again. Timber smiled, lowering his head again.

After eating, Nikki dozed off.

"N-nothing."

Izou headbutted Fenix away, and looked at Meadowlark expectantly.
Chayton lay next to her, and slowly went into a light sleep.

Mist furrowed her brows. She tucked her tail, "Fire.... what's wrong?" she asked softly.

Meadowlark lunged at Timber, who puffed out his chest and rammed into her. She tumbled backwards, but instantly was back on her feet.

Fire bit his lip. "N-nothing at all. Just fine." he lied quickly.

"Meadowlaaark!" Izou complained, standing beside Holly.

(anybody know where Iluvorps went?)

Blizzard dozed in the fading sun on a large rock. he had managed to injure his paw earlier while patrolling the lands, and decided to spend the day resting

Sitka took the pups to be watched by "Unka North" as she went out hunting. She returned with a couple of hares, and she glancing around, searching for her mate.

Quote:
Wind sat down, and the pup slid off his back. The pup giggled, climbing back on; she obviously enjoyed "the slide". Once she reached the top of Wind's neck, she slid back down again, giggling happily.
Scarlet sighed wearily, snatching the runaway pup once again and putting him back. Then she laid her head down and started drifting off.

(Timeskip?)
(Sure.)

Scarlet wearily jumped after the male pup again, setting off a chorus of squeals from the nursing pups at her belly. She sighed, looking lovingly at them. Seven pups. Oh my. She thought, laying her head down. She watched the front of the den, hoping Wind would come.

Wind came in with a pheasant in his jaws.
Scarlet lifted her head happily, watching as the male pup scampered away again. "Wind... catch him please." she moaned, chuckling.

Wind chuckled, picking their son up by the scruff. "You stay over there," Wind said sternly, placing him down beside his siblings.

(Can I have a couple of the pups?)
