Emeraldpack, weakened by the attack by Darkpack, was still trying to recover from the fire. "I think we need a new denning site," Nyx muttered. "Too much of the old hunting spots are burnt badly or gone now."
Thrush nodded half-heartedly. "Where else is there?"
"The other side of the territory isn't destroyed like this," her mother suggested.
Thrush and Night were now near maturity. They were just as big as the adult wolves, and it was easy to mistake them for full-grown ones.

(thank you!) Greenleaf walked around in the unfamiliar territory, her pelt bristling.

Rebel trotted through the shared territory, he had grown into a large, slender wolf. He didn't act like a sad, pathitic little pup anymore. he exuded confindiance, and strength. He knew his path now, and no longer mourned over the loss of his family. Now he had his heart set on finding a mate.

A tan she-wolf slunk through the bushes, glaring murderously at Rebel. He's just one more wold stealing my prey. She thought, bunching her muscles. Then she lunged at him, silent.

Storm paced around, sniffing the air. Faint scents of prey were there, but nothing recent. Ever since the fire Storm had become more and more...different. Lost, somehow. The only thing he seemed to do was disappear on hunting trips and act like he was too full to eat with Nyx and the pack.
