Yeah..." Nikki murmured, looking at the sky. "They were gonna have pups, too... They'd have had them long by now. I wonder how they're doing, and what they're named." She sighed, resting her head on her paws. "North heard through the grapevine they started a new pack, Thunderpack."

"Hey!" Wind protested playfully, diving in after her and splashing water all over the place.

Lightning had to supress a cry of joy as her paw moved normally for a minute. Leafe ran over to her father, "daddy! Mama's foot is normal again!

"Oh yeah... I would have liked to meet my nieces and nephews." Chayton sighed, looking in the direction of Thunderpack.

Scarlet yelped happily, completely drenched now. She shook out, then waded to the deeper part of the river, where she could swim. She tread water, a smile of pure content on her face.

Elan scrambled to his feet as the sound of his daughter's excited voice. "What?" he cried happily, dashing to the den.

Mist padded back to the dens, carrying a bird in her jaws. Her ears were low, as well as her tail, but her silver eyes watched the territory with confidence. As long as she wasn't around a wolf with dominance, she was just fine.
