Nikki's ears lifted, then drooped again. "Why won't he ask me, then?!" She snapped to herself. "He knows that I love him! I've asked him before, and he didn't answer! Don't I at least deserve an answer?!" Nikki grit her teeth, whining sadly. "Doesn't he care?!" As she hadn't exactly watched the volume of her voice, it drifted right back out.

"Nikki..." Autumn only watched her sister sadly. She didn't really know what to tell her; she'd never gone through this with Elan. She nuzzled her sister affectionately, and Nikki sighed.
Chayton grimaced. "Elan.... I absolutely adore her. She's wonderful.... but I-" he cut himself off, looking angrily at the floor. Elan sidled up to him, putting a large paw on his brother's shoulders. "Ask her, Chayton. You'll be glad you did." he told him in a hushed tone. Chayton nodded. "I will Elan.... I will."

Nikki left Autumn and Elan's den, going to sit by the river. She swirled her paws around in the water, watching the tiny fish frantically swim away. A breeze ruffled her fur, and she looked up at the sky. The clouds were gathering, and becoming darker. The wind carried a smell of rain, and many wolves in Thunderpack raised their heads at the sudden scent.
Chayton padded up behind her, "Hey Nikki....." he said softly, sitting down. "Nikki... I.." he sighed, then looked deep into her eyes. "I've put this off too long. I love you. Would you be my mate?" he asked hopefully.

Nikki blinked slowly, almost as if she didn't believe he had just said that. Then, she shot to her paws, nuzzling him. "YES! Yes, Chayton, I will!"
Chayton's eyes rolled backwards, and for a minute it looked as if he was going to faint. He staggered away, then licked her face. "Thank you." he mumbled.

Nikki's tail wagged like crazy.
Chayton beamed, spinning around while jumping on his toes. "Thank you! I love you!" he whispered while he spun.

Nikki grinned happily, nuzzling him and bounding around like a pup.
Chayton jumped into the river, splashing her with water.

"Hey!" She shouted jokingly, leaping in after him.
Chayton uttered a playful growl, nosing water in her direction.

Wind licked her ear.
Scarlet sighed, pushing her nose into his fur and breathed in his scent. It calmed her, and almost right away she fell into a deep sleep.

Faolen shook his head. "I got lost. I didn't know." he mumbled, and moved away. Mari tended to Summer, who writhed in pain. Elki watched, his face pale with fright. "She'll be okay.. right?" he asked in his low deep voice. Mari didn't reply. Summer was going to have to fight hard if she wanted to live.... and if she wanted to save her pups. 

Hours later, early in the next morning, Mari stepped away from her daughter, pale and tired. Summer was motionless, but breathing. Beside her lay one tiny pup. All the others, had died. Elki lay beside his mate, tears running down his cheeks. 

Aki grieved for his daughter, but was thankful she had survived. he padded up next to Mari, nuzzling her.

Sahara's ears fell back at the thought of joining a pack. "No Rebel... it grieves me to say, but I can't. You don't know what we've been through. We could never return to a pack after.. after what happened." 

Rebel's heart broke a little he was fond of Sahara, "then i guess this is goodbye." he said sadly. "I can't leave my pack, I just it's complicated." the truth was he didn't want to leave because emerlad pack was all he had left of his family, and part of him hoped that one day his sister would return.

"Welcome." The camp was in the middle of the forest, with large dens. "This was Emeraldpack's old camp, before my useless parents took it over. They didn't have any sentries here, so we've just made ourselves right at home. Darkpack might still be lurking around, though, so keep an eye out."

Yukon nodded, "it'll make Atra furious when she learns you have taken this land." he smirked creeped across his face

Beo and Willow moved through a large loner land. they had been in the land for a couple weeks now.
Beo turned to Willow "We need to find a place for a good den." Willow nodded. she was very pregnant with pups, and would be due any day now, she need to rest.
Beo found a large boulder leaned against a hill and an old tree, there was already a small cave, but he went in and dug for hours until the hollow was larger. "There." he smiled.
Willow smiled and then went and laid down, she let out a heavy sigh.

Luna sat in her den, she was in alot of pain, her pups were coming! "LUPUS!" she howled.
Lupus heard her cry and came running. "what is it?" he asked concerned.
"The pups!" she barked through her gritted teeth.
Lupus moved up beside her, trying to comfort her.
Hours later 2 tiny helpless pups were born.

Aki eyed Elki for a moment, in his mind he growled, he knew in his heart it wasn't Elki's fault that summer had had a difficult birth, but still his blamed him.
Aki looked down at Mari, a small smile on his face, "She has your strength."

Autumn chuckled, padding to Elan's side as she watched them. "Guess it turned out well," she remarked.
