Quote: Mist followed silently, grinning to herself. She liked Fire so much, but they were both so shy! She sighed.

Elan got up and looked sternly at Leafe. "If you're just going to quit, why play? Quitters never win, Leafe." he told her. Timber lowered his head while Meadowlark got up.

Fire came trotting back with a juicy, fat rabbit.

"I can't win this game!" Leafe whined. "No one's playing right! Holly came in way too early, Timber won't let up, Izou's being a complete dork, and Fenix is running around when the guy he's playing is supposed to be dead!!"
Mist smiled. "Wow, nice catch." she smiled.

Elan sighed. The pups around Leafe drooped their heads. Elan looked at Autumn for help.

"Thanks," Fire smiled, nudging it towards her. "For you."

Autumn shook her head. "Okay, well, in that case, go find something else to do." She lifted Leafe up by the scruff and began taking her away.

"Wait!" Leafe whined, kicking her legs, though Autumn didn't pay it any heed. Autumn loved her pups dearly, and was like a mother bear, but didn't let any of her pups slide when they tried to pull a stunt.
"Oh, um, want to share?" Mist asked, her shyness coming through again. Her ears dropped and tail tucked as she sat down.

Elan smiled sadly, then turned to his pups. "Who wants to play 'protect the territory'?" he asked, dropping to a crouch. Timber's ears shot up, and Meadowlark jumped to her paws.

"It's all yours," Fire said, smiling at her. He reddened a bit as his obvious love for her came through in his voice. (I think it's weird saying that a guy blushes :p)

"Yeah!!" Izou, Holly, and Fenix yelped all at once, leaping to their paws.
(Haha, true. :p)

Mist smiled, "I don't want to eat it alone.." she looked up, and like two magnets, her silver eyes locked with Fire's. She pushed it closer to him with her paw.

Elan chuckled. "Okay! I'm a bear. I'm prowling into the den site. What do you do?!" he barked, rising up on his back legs. "Attack!!" Meadowlark squealed, bolting at her father.

Fire bit his lip. "Fine." He took a tentative bite of the leg.

"Wait!" Fenix called. "If a real bear attacked, we should try and lure it away from camp first."

Oh boy," Wind sighed good-naturedly, watching May and Maple wrestle. He chuckled, leaning over to Scarlet. "Not so many moons ago, that was us.
"I know." Scarlet sighed, smiling. Her eyes wandered to a tiny brown male pup with chocolate eyes. "He reminds me of Nike." she said softly.

Wind smiled, licking the pup's forehead.
The tiny pups squealed, pawing at his father's tongue. His vision was blurry, even though his eyes were open, so he kept toppling over.

Wind chuckled, nudging his son back to his paws. "What should we call him?" he asked Scarlet, glancing at May and Maple. He was still in awe that these were his very own pups.
"I'm not sure.. something strong though. He's going to be great. I've already decided that." Scarlet winked, rolling so her belly was more exposed.

Wind smirked. "Hmm..." he gazed at his pup intently. "Maybe... Sorin?" he suggested.
"Oh I like that." Scarlet replied, nuzzling her son.
Wind frowned as he looked over at one of the pups. It had barely moved since the birth, and Wind was growing increasingly worried.

Mist tore her eyes away, and smiled. She took a bite of the wing.

Elan's eyes sparkled. He let out a roar, swinging his paws and narrowly missing Timber. Timber snatched his sister's tail, yanking her back. "Yeah!" Timber agreed with Fenix.

From Fire's perspective, the mid-morning sun lit up Mist's pelt from where he was standing. He grew a bit weak in the knees. He bit his lip; he had to ask her, now. "M-mist?" He uttered, swallowing hard.

Fenix danced in front of Elan. "Come and get me, big mean bear!" he taunted.

"That one," Wind frowned, looking at the sickly pup. "It... hasn't moved."

Mist looked up with a mouthful of food in her jaws. She swallowed. "Yes Fire?" she asked timidly.

Elan roared again, swiping his paw at Fenix. Meadowlark snapped at Elan's back lpaws.
