Thrush wheeled and charged the deer with West. It stumbled at just the right time, nearly slamming into Falcon before he dodged it and launched himself at its back. The deer fell again but rose before he could bring it down. At least I've weakened it, Falcon told himself halfheartedly as he prepared to attack again.

West clamped his teeth tighter, blood spilled from the deer's neck, he pulled down, dragging the doe to it's knees.
