After a week with little food, Beau was starving. He was finding small prey was scarce in this area. Loneliness also got to the better of him. He let out one long howl hoping to get the attention of any wolves in the area. He laid down and waited.

Shade wondered around, his face had stopped bleeding but his ego still hurt. He snarled as he walked to the river. he loved being a loner, but sometimes not having another wolf to fight on yourside really sucked.
