Maybe so," May said distantly.
Chuma nudged her gently. "Don't worry about it."

May sighed. "I'm trying not to."

Her ears suddenly lifted, and she sniffed the air. "Cougar," she growled.
Chuma lifted his nose to the air and caught a whiff of Cougar. "Oh boy.." He growled.

May climbed onto the Great Rock and howled, "Stormpack! We must drive off the cougar!"

In the trees, a tan, lithe shape was moving.
Chuma watched the Cougar quietly as he slowly approached it for a better look.

May disappeared in the grass. Then, she lunged forwards, roaring at the cougar. It was startled.
Chuma snapped his attention to May, then quickly lunged towards the cougar.

Then, Faedon decided to join. Together, May and Faedon fought it, and it began trying to flee.
Chuma imbedded his sharp canines into the cougars neck. He was determined to get rid of this cougar, even if it meant risking his own life.

Quote: Shade rolled, a large chunk of bloody fur ripped from his neck. He snarled and raced into forest.

Swift slowly opened her eyes, "Is he gone?" She whispered
Bem was breathing heavily, still shocked that he actually had to fight. "Y-yeah." He breathed. Then he cleared his throat. "Are you ok?" He asked more firmly.

The cougar then pelted away, frightened.

May turned to scold Faedon, "Faedon, why did you attack the cougar?"

"Because I wanted to help fight it off!" she exclaimed. "Hey, I can talk normawy! Well, almost... cwap."

May sighed. "You're grounded for three days. You cannot leave the densite unless Dawn or I am nearby. I'll go tell her.
Chuma sighed and gave Faedon a stern look. "Next time don't do that." He growled softly.

May gave him a look that said, I'll handle it. Faedon frowned, "okay. I'll go find Fwi- FLINT." She turned and went into the shadow of the Great Rock.
Chuma raised his brow slightly then looked at May with his huge puppy dog eyes. "That was a close call."

"I know," she frowned. "There have been lots of cougars around lately."
Chuma nodded slowly, "Yes, thats true," he said worriedly.

"Hopefully they'll go away soon," she murmured.

Nyra remained watching him.

Lacy came running up the hill "Shadow!" She called in a small voice. "I thought you were out hunting!?"
Shadow trotted up "I'm sorry little lacy." He replied. "I'll go now okay." He nosed her, "But you need to go back to the dens. Okay? And be careful!"
Lacy nodded and trotted away.
Shadow sighed then turned to Nyra. "Feel up for a hunt?"

Nyra gazes at him and grew a immense smile, revealing her fangs. "Of course." She nodded.
